Message	bits receive proper maintenance (ie --well lubed) what could there be to worry about? if something is starting to fail, then it will fail, just a matter of time. Would you rather not get the full satisfaction of the car's potential and delay the failure or vice versa and get back to full satisfaction alot sooner? Only thing I'd worry about in your case is the auto tranny. But if it were me, I'd save up for a SZ built tranny and romp as much as I saw fit.
